- I did not purchase this screen protector to protect my screen from scratches, but rather to cut down on the glare and reduce fingerprints. I have PIN to drive enabled so my screen would quickly get covered with fingerprints.To install, I cleaned my screen, turned off HVAC in the car (figured this would cut down on dust circulation), cleaned the screen again, and then followed the installation instructions. The frame is nice - it makes installation quick and easy. I can\'t imagine being able to properly line up something this big without the use of the frame. After removing the frame I found that there were A TON of bubbles behind the protector, which took quite a while to push out but I did eventually get them all. Unfortunately despite all my prep efforts I still ended up with a tiny speck of something between the protector and the screen, on the right edge just before the screen turns from display to black border. I probably could have let this go and nobody except me would ever notice it, but it really bothered me. A quick Google suggested I could peel up the protector and use a dust sticker against the back of the protector to grab whatever was stuck there. I gave it a shot, using the sticker against both the protector and the screen, being careful not to touch the screen or protector with my finger. Initially it looked like I had actually made things worse because it kind of smudged the adhesive behind the protector, but after smoothing it out again with the provided squeegee, everything looks great and no more tiny bubble! I doubt this would have worked if the speck was further from the edge, but it\'s worth a shot if you\'ve got one close. So remember, it is very important to spend a lot of time cleaning and checking the screen beforehand, because it is huge and you can easily miss the smallest speck that will lead to a permanent bubble!Now that the protector is on and the bubbles are all worked out, I love it. My finger glides over the screen much more smoothly than before, no glare, and ZERO FINGERPRINTS! As expected there is a very slight reduction in clarity but it won\'t be an issue. I just increased the brightness a bit and it looks great.
- Screen protector for car computer
- This screen protector fit my 2022 Tesla model S perfectly. I like the fact that it was easy to install. Make sure you install it while in cleaning mode. I used the tool supplied with screen protector to remove air bubbles. I also used a flashlight to make sure I got them all out. After installation I immediately noticed the screen does not show my finger prints like before. I also like the fact it’s anti-glare.
- Used the same type of installation pieces on phones and always came out perfectly straight. This item I guess the glass was not placed on the installation guide straight it caused the end results to be slightly crooked. Otherwise it’s a good item easy to install would of have them 5 stars if it was straight.
- I was hesitant to purchase as I thought it would be difficult to install, line up properly and get all the bubbles out. However, the step by step instructions, the video and the plastic frame assures perfect alignment. I am so glad I purchased from this company! The anti glare is also wonderful. Follow the step by step instructions and the last tip on using the back of the smaller hard squeeze to get those last few bubbles out.
- I have used Spigen products for a long time. This screen protector left me a bit disappointed. Maybe it\'s just how Matt finish looks like on a tesla screen. First of all, percent fit. Was able to get every bubble out. But despite 100 percent brightness, the screen looks dull and grainy- like resolution has gone down. I\'ve never used Matt finish on screens, Maybe that\'s how they look.now that I\'ve applied this, I\'m not going to return it. But will remove it as soon as there is an alternate available
- Fingers slide nicely on this protector. It is very smooth. Anti-glare works nicely! And I love the easy install brace to help position it perfectly.If you get this, make absolutely sure to get ALL of the specks of dust or hair off of your screen first - I wasn’t very careful and there are a few large bubbles that won’t come out because they have a hair or speck of dust behind them. And I’m afraid to take the protector off and reapply it.
