- Works good just the usual loses suction every now and then but it’s probably the change in temperature. Just have to clean it and works good again.
- it may have been what i stuck it to, but the adhesive on the back of the dashbaord disc only lasted about 3 or 4 months before coming apart. i had stuck it to the inside of my tesla model 3 center console, which is a felt type material...to fix this, i bought some scotch extreme strength mounting tape and replaced the adhesive disc with that (3 strips on the back of the disc, cut out to cover the entire disc). we\'ll see how long it lasts, it has only been a few days since i did that...but it\'s holding up well so far.aside from that, the mount is great for what i\'m using it for (mounting my portable XM satellite radio unit). the actual suction cup sticks to the disk very well, and the mount seems to hold in place well enough. rating 3 stars only because of the adhesive issue (although again it may have been what i stuck it to). if the extreme strength mounting tape holds up, i\'ll probably bump this up to 4 stars.edit: i\'m going to bump this to 4 stars. the extreme strength mounting tape has worked very well over the past few months - i can\'t give it five stars given i had to buy something else to make it work, but this is really the only annoyance i have. the actual mount is great other than this one point.
- When I put this device into my car, my original thought was to mount to the windshield with the suction cup. But I found out that it has such good suction that I can use it not only on the windshield, but the hard surfaces of my console, so I mounted it on my console, and it adheres to the console surfaces as well as it adheres to glass. Putting it on my console made the wires easier to route to the antenna and to power so I\'ve chosen that as the spot of choice. Every time I leave my car, I put the satellite radio inside the console compartment to deter theft. Every time I re-attach it to the console surface, it sticks like glue, yet is easy to detach when you want to put it away. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT THAT HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!
- The mounting system included with the Onyx radio would not work on our less than flat and textured dash. I\'ve tried tape, Gorilla pads, etc, with no avail. This bracket mounts the radio securely to the windshield and makes it easy to tune stations. Had it for 2 weeks and it\'s still securely mounted.
- This allowed us to move a XM radio car kit to the lower window instead of blocking a AC vent. The mounting bracket included with the kit was a bit useless, as it had screws but no nuts to mount to the back of the radio dock. (nothing was threaded, so the slip mounts the bracket lines up with were pointless too) Thankfully, the radio has a square slot that the mount slides into, and all is well.My only other gripes are: it doesn\'t have much freedom of movement, i had to re-position the suction cup a few times so the radio didn\'t sit cockeyed. it appears the ball joint behind the clip has a low adjusment range.Related to the above, the ball joint has no method of locking, so when you press a button on the XM, it will very likely shift the angle of the radio.

- Good mount, shipping was good, I stuck it to the windshield and it hasn\'t moved. The adjustment part that holds whatever your apparatus may be is semi sturdy, now I have an old heavy XM receiver that sits inside a cradle, it\'s not light. I have the adjustment pretty tight and this is in a commercial truck which trust me, can slam your bones at times. It\'s moved a little, by that I mean just a little. So it\'s not a real criticism in your cushy little people car. That\'s the only reason for one star down. Quick shipping, seems to be glued to the windshield so I\'d say - YA, get it, it\'ll work for ya!!
- The media could not be loaded. This is wonderful. Second day using it but the cords are no longer getting caught on my water bottle/purse/me. I apologize for the dusty dash, we have fun on our weekends 🤣
