• The clip stays on the handheld unit just fine, but the clip itself opens a little too easily. I had a situation where I passed by a fern and the clip caught on it and pulled the unit right out of my pocket. I will probably attach some kind of carabiner to it. If you are trying decide between the clip in the carabiner, I would go with the carabiner.

• TLDR: Bought the clip to go on the Garmin Sport Pro remote. Fits great and is very sturdy but has to be removed in order to charge the remote.First off, major bummer that some Garmin products don’t include a belt clip and/or a lanyard. Already spent a good amount of money on the device to then have to add on this clip is lame.For the actual clip itself, it’s solid. It clips right on and stays in place. The biggest issue is that the bottom of the clip covers the charging port. So, have to take the clip off every time the remote needs charging. Which is a bit annoying because the clip stays on so well that it takes a little extra effort to get it backing. Buyer beware if you are purchasing this for the Sport Pro dog training remote.
• These aren\'t supplied with with the eTrex 30x. Comes in handy to clip on instead of stuffing in jacket.
• this works with garmin dog collar remotes, the clip gets in the way of the charging port and i had to remove some of the plastic so i can charge without removing.
• It is an exact fit for my 64sx Garmin gps.
• Only thing that could make it better is if you didn’t have to slide the clip off every time you want to charge the remote. I guess you could do it with the clip on if you wanted to fight the rubber flap, but it’s easier to just take it off. Otherwise I’m happy with it. If it ever broke, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one.
• This clip, which should have been included with the original package, works really well.Having to remove it to charge the transmitter is a pain though.
