  • I bought this to replace the original transducer on my 998si/di that had went bad . This unit has very clear picture way better than the original transducer .
  • Does a good job
  • Works as expected!
  • I saved a few bucks buying it here. Overall seems like a great purchase. I ripped my transducer off in some bad weather and needed a new one fast. Install was easy although the brack required new holes being drilled in the transom due to a Sligh variation in brackets from my old one. Overall it has been on for about a month with no issues at all.
  • My old transducer must have been hit or going out, temp showed in 300\'s all the time. The views now are crystal clear and I can actually see what is down there now. It is nice to do si and see fish stacked up by structure.
  • Had clarity issue with transducer that came with my hummingbird 899si side imaging. This took care of it. A lot of fun to find things in rivers and lakes in lot less time. Great detail.
  • I bought a 2006 Crestliner Fish Hawk with a Humminbird 998c SI Combo (not an HD). The depth on the graph read nothing but 5.9-6.1 ft. SI was completely black on both sides. Based on these reviews/fixes, I decided a faulty transducer was the problem. It definitely was. As soon as I hooked this one up... my depth began working on the graph, and the most purdy pictures... all good!
  • This is my 3rd transducer; the 1st one fell apart old age ( 2 yrs.) , The second one got dislodged by a tree stump last week and I could feel it just dangling on the back of the boat, shrugged it off and and after zooming down the lake, it fell off, ( the wire was toooo flimsy to hold it anyway) and so I just ordered this one, they usually last\'s two years of abuse BEFORE you have to buy another. BUT, I am NOT a weekend fisherman, I fish every other day weather permitting.
