- I bought a bullet point cell phone mount for my tacoma. The mount was great except the arm that came with it was too short to place the phone in the position that I wanted. I got this to extend the arm and it works great. It appears to be made from the same materials as the Bulletpoint arm so no issues there.Note: most of the ball type mount manufacturers (RAM, Bulletpoint, etc..) use different ball diameters so make sure you are getting the right size diameter for your application.
- I use multiple brackets to attach iPads, MacBooks, etcetera into vehicles. In my truck I needed a little more flexibility and a few more inches in height from my consoles. The iBolt provided the length and sturdiness to secure my device in place, adding the ability to adjust to various angles. I will most likely purchase more in the future.
- This arm was easy to add on to and adapt to an existing other branded suction cup + arm combo. The build quality seems good, as the parts appear mostly metal. A nice bonus was the ratcheting style tightening handle, as it allows you to twist the arm into places that would be tough to use a traditional thumb screw.Make sure you need an arm this short, however. I think that many folks will need the 6\" version which they also sell to reach a useful length from whatever is being mounted to.
- I lost a part of my tripple cup Delkin Fat Gecko, and was looking for a replacement. This one does not fit the Delkin Fat Gecko set unfortunately. I\'d keep looking. Quality wise, it felt short of the Delkin Fat Gecko as well.
- Works perfect. I combined it with a suction cup kit to mount my camera on the hood of my Jeep. The extension arm allowed me to position it where I needed it.
- We film for our YT Channel sometimes with our Insta360 One X2 or GoPro or DJI Pocket 2 on the hood of our truck.We end up near the edge where it is curved using a PGYtech 3 suction cup mount. It is hard to get the edge of the hood out of view and we would prefer to be back where the hood is flatter.This extension allows that, so it is exactly what we needed.The construction is very solid and the balls have a small pattern on them for added grip strength.Highly recommended and would buy again.
- When you\'re attaching an action camera to something that\'s about to start moving around a lot, you need to be sure that the hardware you use can handle it and isn\'t going to budge.This is a well-made device that will integrate seamlessly with my other 20mm ball-joint mounting accessories and from my experience with other iBOLT gear I know how well it\'s made and have zero qualms about trusting it with my gear and to stay in place and make sure I get the shot.The additional extra screw handle is a nice touch, and will absolutely come in handy for certain applications.
- solid piece of aluminum and works well for extension of an existing ball mount. looks like will last a while but will come back if run into any issues it holding tight, so far so good.
