- It works ok. I would like for it to have a better grip on the GPS unit. Also, if the dashboard is not absolutely flat, it will slide around at sharp turns. However, it is easy to use.
- I use it for a wireless infotainment screen for my car, it barely fits but it does the job. I used double-sided tape to adhere it to my dash and a little bit of velcro to make sure the screen doesn\'t shift in the holder while driving.
- Works out and my cell phone great deal for the price
- This GPS mount is a very nicely designed item, and it holds my 7\" device securely and doesn\'t slide around my dash. I prefer using this mount rather than the windshield mount that came with the GPS unit because it doesn\'t fall off the windshield every time I hit a bump on the road.
- Been looking for something like this for a while. Two improvements need made to this product. Needs a stronger spring so the clam shell holds down tighter a few good bumps in the semi truck and things are flying and I have a 7 inch garmin that’s very light. Would love to see the top of the clam shell made wider at the hinge and where it lays on top of the gps would keep the sun off it a lot better than it does. If you have a heavy gps don’t get this. But is still better than trying to suction it to the window. Such a huge market for quality products we can use in semi trucks if they would only get there butts in a semi truck they would actually understand how they need to build these products. Maybe some strap on gel butt cheeks to wear outside my pants so my old man bum doesn’t hurt so much from crappy highways.
