• so hard to pull it off even. it;s not going anywhere
• Stays put but soaked my key fob. Thankfully I can still use the key to get in
• Got this to put my Garmin GLO in it ,was a perfect fit, really nice little box!
• I bought this to hold a spare key for my RV that I can hide within the frame. Magnetism and a watertight seal were priority one. Both did not disappoint. To take it another step further, I loosely vacuum sealed it. I pulled it out after a 3k road trip with wet and dirty conditions (Alaska) and the key was dry working as it should (electronic key). It didn’t vibrate one bit shifting from its original place even after driving the Dalton Hwy. The magnetism was so tight I had to slide the case which ripped the vacuum seal bag.
• I know this is outside this products designed use but I purchased this specifically to be used for spare keys, and some backup cash. As this was designed to hold a gps tracking device the magnets are more than strong enough to hold a couple keys and a couple $20’s. The magnets are very strong and the box locks very tightly. Although it doesn’t really matter in my application it does appear to be weather tight. This is a fantastic value and perfect for gps trackers (which I actually do have experience with) or hidden keys.
• Pluses: Everything you\'d want in a weather proof case. Strong, durable, strong latch, strong magnets. Just large enough to fit the unit.Cons: The circular mounting brackets for the magnets seem like they\'re starting to form some rust.
• Ive bought 2 and both broke in same spot where latch click over to secure lid.. Was great while it stay shut but useless now. All i did wasnopen and close and just broke off
• Very easy to set up and use. I\'ve got it set to report every 60 seconds. The battery lasts for at least seven days.I bought a magnetic case (from a different vendor than SpyTec that had a better deal) and use that box to stick the unit to the bottom of the passenger seat. There was less steel under the seat than I anticipated; however I was able to find a spot that holds the magnetic box nicely. No issues so far and the tracking website loads quickly and is easy to interpret.If the software is ever redesigned here are a couple of thoughts:1) permit the user (me) to mouse over a location, or for a phone - hold my finger on a specific tracked spot, and get a precise time and address when vehicle was there.2) permit the user to set up and specify color code tracker indications by time of day -- ie: Midnite - 8:00 am = Black; 8:00am - Noon = Red --- Noon - 3pm = Blue -- 3:00 - 8:00 PM -- Green ; 8:00 PM to Midnite - Orange --- or whatever colors and times the user specifies.
