- I own a Fenix 5s Plus.Unbelievable that Garmin hasn\'t made these until the Fenix 6 was out. Unfortunately for anyone who owns something less than the F6, this means being creative. First off, the mounts are quality mounts, very sturdy, and the fact that you get all 3 sizes in one box is great. So I ordered a set figuring one of the mounts would fit the 5s plus after checking and seeing that the specs for the 5s plus show a size of 42x42x15.4 mm and the 6s plus of 42x42x13.8 mm and both use 20 mm bands.Once the mounts arrived I was very surprised to find out the the 20mm mount was the right width to fit between the \"arms\" of the 5s plus case, but the distance between the top pin and the bottom pin was was way off (so the 5s plus and the 6s plus may have the same size cases, but are NOT the same size, despite garmin\'s stated specs). The fortunate thing for the 5s plus users is that the distance between the pins matches up with the 22mm mount.So I used a dremel tool and some sandpaper to remove about 1mm from each side of the 22mm mount\'s vertical arms that snap onto the watch\'s pins and then the 5s plus snapped right in.So it CAN work for the 5s plus, you just have to get creative.
- Perfect for its purpose
- A bit hard to install on the bike handlebars because the watch\'s strap must be removed in order to install it. Other than that, very good and handy. But you get pack of 3 sizes for 3 different watck sizes, even if you need one.
- Nice in order to set up a clean and good looking handlebar, just one ride with it so I’m not going to review about durability right know but looks sturdy.Same as other reviews I don’t understand why Garmin sells three adapters, I only need one, that’s a waste of money and contamination.It’s ok if Garmin include a lanyard for extra security if my watch pops out in an accident.
- Once the mount is installed on your bike it works well. You have to remove your watch band to use the mount. I only give 4 stars because if you want to use this mount in a triathlon you would have to clip the watch bands back onto the garmin during transition.
- I’ve been dreaming of this mount for years. I started with a Fenix 3X and I’m now running a 6X Pro. I can FINALLY use my watch as intended without running some kind of gimmicky mount.I’ve used this on several rides (it’s mounted to my aero bars) and I have zero complaints.
- Irresponsible for Garmin to force people to purchase so much wasteful material. We only need one size, yet they package and force you to buy three creating more wasted plastic in the landfills. Totally irresponsible.
- Attached easily to my bike. Great to see my watch w/o wearing… I hated my tan line. Tan line is gone
