- Quickly after getting my Venza I noticed that the touch screen could easily get scratched by my micro fiber cloth. I purchased this screen protector to help elevate the issue. The first time I installed this protector I set the black edge of the screen protector to the top edge of the cars display area. Unfortunately this cut off the indicators on the cars display for whether or no A/C or recirculating air was on/off/auto. I tried to live with this for a week or so, but decided I should reapply the screen protector.I gently removed the screen protector using some small removal tools from other phone screen protectors. I then connected my phone and turned on CarPlay. This gave me a nice bright display edge to line up. Next, I aligned the black part of the screen protector with the bottom of the car’s display. Again I carefully reapplied the screen protector. This resulted in all of the cars on screen displays to show up. Yes there is a small part of the top of the display area that is cut off, but no control indicators were cut off. As a side note, all of the tiny logos on the bottom of the screen are now covered up completely by the screen protector’s black border.I was also worried about glare going from a matte stock screen to the glass screen protector. I haven’t really noticed a difference.Overall, I am now satisfied with this purchase. The screen is super easy to clean off finger prints and I don’t have your worry about scratching the car’s display.
- Installed the protector in about 20 min. My only issue is the black frame covers the JBL logo, but I can live with that.
- Installed on a 2022 Toyota Venza. Followed instructions and installed with little effort. No issues with the screen\'s touch functionality. Only thing knocking down a star is that the edges are not adhering like the center. Others have commented about the Toyota screen\'s edge having a slight raise which makes it not at the precise same level as the interior of the screen. This has not been an issue except for the slight aesthetic issue. No one other than me notices. This is probably more a Toyota issue than of the screen protector\'s manufacturer.
- I have installed screen protectors on my iphone(s), ipad(s), android devices along with the big screen in my RAM truck. The reason why I mention this is to establish a baseline to verify I am not a novice. This screen protector for the Venza would fit better if the screen protector only covered the main part of the screen and not around the buttons. The button area on both sides of the screen is slightly elevated from the main screen (yes, it\'s slight). That little bit of elevation prevents the screen protector from laying completely flat which causes an air pocket around the screen. This is only noticeable when the screen is off. If you are anal about how things should look (like I am) it may bother you. That being said I see the value of having the screen protector over not having one so I can live with it.
- I found out quickly, as others have mentioned, that the screen in my 2022 Venza scratches very easily. Someone suggested that I look for a screen protector and voila! It helps keep finger prints down as well. The black border doesn\'t bother me (although I\'m not entirely sure why they needed to put a border on it at all), and I didn\'t find it hard to place. It covers up the logos for Gracenote, JBL, and Sirius, but who cares. My only real complaint is that the bubbles are extremely difficult to get out. I\'ll keep working on them; they don\'t really bother me, but in such a nice car, I would like to have it perfect. Overall, it was a solid purchase.
- This review is for the protector with the black band around the edges (I think the all-clear one has been withdrawn).If you have a new 2012 Venza with the big display (Limited or XLE with radio upgrade) you need to get one of these. I didn\'t think this protector would make that much difference, but boy was I wrong. It makes the screen contrast much better and it very neatly hides the multiple logos at the bottom (SiriusXM, JBL). And most importantly, it protects the somewhat fragile display from fingerprints and scratches. It\'s much easier to wipe clean than the unprotected display. Of course, it\'s just like adding this kind of glass protector to your phone or tablet (it\'s the same material). Because the display is so large and so prone to smudges (oil, dirt) from fingertips tapping the screen having this added layer makes all the difference. I\'m going to order another one to keep in storage just in case, that\'s how happy I am with this product. Once my two friends who have new Venzas saw my protector installed, they bought one too. It\'s not hard to put on (just follow the steps using the materials provided).For a perfect installation, be sure to put on rubber or plastic gloves. Make sure the surface is completely clean of all smudges and dust specks, then lay down the protector from one side of the display to the other. If you need to start over (that is, if you left lots of bubbles in the middle) or didn\'t get the placement just right, just gently pull it up to release the bubbles then lay it down again. There! Perfect! I couldn\'t be happier. My friends couldn\'t be happier. My dealer\'s service writer noticed it immediately...he said, \"Your display looks great...what have you got on there?\"Oh, and the customer service from the suppler is great too. Quick email response to question, quick resolution.

- If you purchased a new Venza recently then you already know that the matte screen scratches way too easy. This glass screen protector does the job and gives it a cleaner more vibrant look. This is an absolute must!
