- To get this to grip my handlebars well enough to not move with the slightest touch, I ended up washing everything with Dawn to try and degrease the materials a little more then I had to use contact cement to make it stay put.BUT, the clamp is kind of a fail. There is a screw which tightens the clamp and it is larger than the hole in the casting so the screw doesn\'t even reach the metal threaded nut. You will either have to force the screw through (ouch) or drill the plastic out very slightly so the mounting screw can reach the threads of the nut. Very frustrating to mount this.But once it was mounted, I\'m fairly happy with it. With the contact cement, I was able to use another one of their products to mount my giant phone to my handlebars.
- Almost exactly like the original Garmin bracket. The computer snaps on perfectly.

- This works perfectly for my Garmin 1040 Solar. I use the GoPro mount to mount a headlight. For these purposes this mount is great. Is seems as good as the one that came with my Garmin Edge 1040.
- I bought this back in July 2021, and have ridden more than 1,000 miles of road and gravel trails. I use it to hold an Edge 130 Plus on the top, and a NiteRider Lumina 900 lamp using the GoPro adapter on the bottom.It\'s strong and sturdy, easy to mount, and I\'ve had zero issues with it. The Garmin just snaps in and it holds it tightly. I have no concerns about it falling out, it\'s tight and not going anywhere. The mount itself is very strong, but also extremely lightweight. It\'s holds the headlight steady and could easily hold up even a heavier headlight. It\'s very durable.I\'ve had it for over 9 months, it\'s in the same condition as when I bought it. I\'m sure I\'ll be using it for several years since it has no noticeable wear on it. I even remove the light after most rides to charge it, and the GoPro mount is just as tight as it was on Day 1.I highly recommend it, it gives you everything that Garmin branded mount gives you, but at a much lower price. It has the benefit of the GoPro adapter if you ever need it without taking up extra space on your handlebars.
- The screws that hold the unit to the handle bar are too short, making mounting difficult. For me, there was no good sized spacer to grip my handle bar...I had to improvise. The unit sticks way out from the handle bars and could easily be an inch shorter.
