- This item is better than the one that I purchased with the GPS.
- for more than a year I\'ve had to \"remount\" my Garmin Nuvi AT LEAST once/day and more recently several times each day. I\'ve cleaned the windshield, cleaned the suction cup, warmed up the suction cup, licked the suction cup, added a little drop of distilled water, etc. etc. etc. I\'ve almost been in several accidents as I pick it up off the floor and remount it as I drive with my knees on the freeway at 80mph (oops, I mean 55mph). So I figured what the heck do I have to lose and threw $12 at these guys. It\'s been the better part of a week and I don\'t know what to do with my hands since the Nuvi is still holding strong. No complaints at all.
- After my Garmin GPS fell off my windshield I lost the mount.holder. Then the mount holder was misplaced for a second GPS. The solution was to make this purchase, the quick solution to unmounted GPSs wandering the dashboard and glove box. Can’t speak to suction as I have yet to use them. They fit my Garmins perfectly and appear to be better quality. The suction device appears to be heavy duty. They are slightly shorter than the original. No matter, I’m delighted with the product. Problem solved X 2 for $10.99.
- For the price, they are pretty good and hold to the windshield just like the Garmin originals. The only problem is that the ball end may be slightly undersized. I have the magnetic type Garmin, where electrical and mechanical contact, are made by a magnetic mount. When I pull the Garmin off of the magnetic mount it pulls the mount off of the ball. Won\'t bother most users, but effects me.

- My original Garmin mount kept falling off the windshield in the heat, but the replacement holds very well and fits perfectly. Having a 2-pack gives me the piece of mind knowing when the heat wears out the suction of the first one, I\'ll be able to replace it right away.
- I bought these for a GPS. The original windshield suction cup mount is worn out. These fit the Garmin GPS I have perfectly. Doesn\'t seem to want to stay attached to the windshield in my pickup but the same one has worked for days in my work truck.For the price, they probably can\'t be beat.
- I had this for about 1 month, I did not think it was going to hold up my 7 inch navigation unit, b/c it is smaller than the one that came with it, but the first month it seems to be working out just fine. It has not fallen off my windshield since the first day I put it on. I am very happy with this purchase for the price (two units at a reasonable price).
