- This is just the base still need to order the antenna.
- The XM radio in the existing antenna was very weak. Cut out half the time driving even in open areas.After putting in this antenna base, it picks up in places my other vehicle cuts out normally.This antenna also works well for XM, FM, AM and GPS signal for Navigation. My only hesitation was that these were not listed in the description here nor on Chevys website.
- This antenna base fixed no FM reception (broken for like 4 years) and no XM reception (new problem). I did have problems cross referencing the correct part.
- Exactly what i wanted
- Relatively easy to install. I just found some YouTube videos. My radio is better than it ever was. GPS, OnStar, and satellite radio all work.Dealer and car stereo places wanted to charge me $400-$500 to replace something I did pretty quickly.
- Put on chevey equinox worked fine no issues
- This is original GM part. I looked for this part at other online retailers. I am a Prime Member and Amazon came out the cheapest with super fast delivery. I love Prime. I try to do all my shopping at Amazon. Check out Youtube for install of this part. Very simple to do.
- Chevy Equinox. Remove two cargo clips from read headliner in cargo area. Pull back headliner. Use metric 10mm to remove bolt from old antenna and disconnect wires. very tight fit! Replace with new antenna. Keep old screw from old antenna to put in antenna hole when removing screw in antenna in car wash. It\'s same size thread as screw in antenna. I took apart old antenna and there was water intrusion from hole where screw in antenna fits.
