- Works as described. Holds our RV660 GPS firmly in place. Nice that the angle of the GPS is adjustable in the grip. and plenty of room to plug in our GPS at the back. We are not using the adhesive as the GPS moves from RV to vehicle. The adhesive has a small area at the back of the mount on the bottom where it sits a little higher but it doesn\'t seem to interfere with the grip on the dash. It is quite large so make sure you have plenty of room to set it on a level surface.
- It\'s hard to find anything wrong with this holder!! We love it!! One thing that would really set it off would be a vertical black line centered on the eyeballs. The spring tension is very strong for older folks using it. But other than that your car may be broken into by people who want one it is so cute!!
- Nice phone holder! The gator is quite hefty and it takes a bit of effort, but not too much, to open the jaws and place the phone. The \"teeth\" let you position the phone to suit your preference. I don\'t have a flat place on my dash big enough to adhere the holder, but since it is weighty and I have a dropped area on my dash I just let it sit in there angled up towards the driver. Everyone who has ridden in my truck likes this holder, even those that aren\'t GATORS fans. Since it is not adhered I can easily take it to a different vehicle, too.
- Gave the product away. Too big for my dashboard.
- Just got this. There was no problem installing the \"Croc\". It has a high friction \"bean-bag\" type base [although, I suspect it is filled with sand rather than beans]. There is a section in the rear with the reusable silicone \"adhesive\". I cleaned the dashboard; I also went over the area where I was going to install the croc with rubbing alcohol to remove any residual grease/dirt. Then I removed the film covering the sticky silicone section and placed the croc. It\'s important to remove any grease/oil from the area where the sticky silicone will rest; otherwise the sticky silicone won\'t grip well. I drove around for a couple of hours with my 7\" GPS in the croc\'s mouth. The GPS is heavy, but the croc never moved. It works much better that the suction cup holder that came with the GPS. And, it adds a little personality to the vehicle.
- I was disappointed in this holder only because I could not get it to stick on the dash. the adhesive it came with did not stick at all so I used two different kinds of two sided tape. I got it to stick ok but when you have to push on the back to open it, it still comes up.
- One of the best and coolest things I bought this year. Holds the car baby monitor perfectly and it looks bad ass too!
- Sturdy and works well.
