- Very stiff. Can bend any way you want. I connected it with a ram connector which works fine. I use it to extend my qualcomm in my semi truck
- This would be perfect if it didn\'t put too much weight on the ball joints. I can\'t tighten the joints enough to keep my ipad from drooping down in my airplane and resting on my knee.
- This is a better extension than Ram\'s previous effort, which was literally just a length of PVC pipe with the word \"Ram\" dot-matrix printed on it. This extension is made of metal with a flexible shielding. It stays straight if you can clamp the ends down tight enough.
- This extension arm positioned my phone right where I needed it.None of my gauges are blocked I can see the map when using it for NavThere is a bit of vibration but very tolerable
- It broke just shy of a month of use in a semi.
- I\'m an iPhone user but needed a place to mount an Andriod phone in addition to my other two iOS devices. Tried mounting the phone on a windshield mount next to my iPhone but that didn\'t work out well. So got the idea to get hardware to mount it above my iPad using this extension plus a few other pieces.The rod is so hard to bend wasn\'t sure if it was really bendable but it is. The decorative plastic cover over the rod actually makes it harder to bend. But once bent it was perfect.
